Tenderness and Humility

Tenderness and humility, two of the most beautiful human qualities, have become so rare in our world.

A world where we are all so caught up in a race to achieve some sort of success, most of the time striving for financial and worldly success.

Ironically these forms of success breed arrogance and complacency and leave no space for a tender word or a humble gesture.

We could say that our biggest hardships therefore are gifts; gifts to rediscover the beauty of humility and tenderness.

Those hardships that get us on our knees, where there is no more hiding behind a facade, where finally we surrender to the light, that was waiting inside us all along to be revealed and called upon. Only then we discover who we really are and only then we can become fully human.

Even when the bad days are gone, always remember those moments and remind yourself that things can change in the blink of an eye. And most of all never lose sight of another human being’s needs.
