20 habits that changed my life in 20 years...

In 2003 I was diagnosed with a stage-4 cancer;
In 2016 my business almost went bankrupt.

Two major setbacks that served as a wake up call and made me think profoundly about who I was, what legacy I want to leave in this lifetime.

Growing as a human being is based on changing habits, these habits improved my life hugely:

1. take distance from negative people
2. take distance from people who drain you
3. take distance from unsupportive people
4. take distance from small minded people
5. surround myself with supportive people from the most diverse backgrounds

6. take enough rest
7. focus on healthy food
8. drink enough water
9. walk in nature
10. very, very rarely alcohol
I BECAME CONSCIOUS ABOUT HOW I TREATED MY BODY


11. no complaining
12. no blaming
13. no gossip
14. no drama
15. no more watching the news
I BECAME CONSCIOUS ABOUT HOW I FILLED MY MIND


16. reading 1 hour per day
17. praying/meditating 30 minutes per day
18. writing/journaling 30 minutes per day
19. carrying an attitude of gratitude throughout the day
20. being kind, always

These were crucial to live a more conscious, mindful and fulfilled life. Never underestimate the power of habits, they shape your life day by day. Making those conscious changes will only transform your life for the better!
